This patient has a severe Class II Div 1 malocclusion with mandibular retrognathia. The treatment plan included a period of pre-surgical orthodontics, mandibular advancement surgery to correct the retrognathia and Class II dental relationship followed by a period of post-surgical orthodontics to idealize occlusion and tooth position. The patient will be having restorative and esthetic dental work done in the near future.
